Job Summary:

As a Social Media Intern, you will support the Social Media Manager or Marketing Team in implementing and maintaining the company’s social media strategy. This internship offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community engagement.


Content Creation:

  • Assist in creating and curating engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Create graphics, images, and short videos for social media posts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas.

Scheduling and Posting:

  • Schedule and post content on social media channels according to the content calendar.
  • Monitor and ensure timely responses to comments, messages, and mentions.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, questions, and messages.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers and address any concerns or issues.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve social media strategy.

Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the execution of social media advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of paid social media campaigns.

Administrative Tasks:

Perform administrative duties related to social media management, such as organizing content assets and maintaining content calendars.


  • Enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and their features.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and a willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Duration: 6 months
